Rob Hanna set foot in the cage as an amateur for the final time Saturday in front of a sold out crowd at Rocktagon MMA & Ohio Xtreme Fighting’s ELITE Series 16: St. Patty’s Day Smack Down in Dayton, Ohio. The main event rematch against Brice Kellum was for the OXF and Rocktagon MMA East Coast Regional Championship Titles. Hanna defeated Kellum after two full rounds when Kellum failed to answer the third round bell.

“Rob had a dominating performance. Brice brought his game but Rob was solid all around. His stand up and ground game have really come together,” said Rocktagon MMA President Michael Patt, “He is dominating the amateur arena. Rocktagon MMA Lightweight Champion Rob Hanna (12-2) will step into the cage as an amateur for the last time tomorrow night to defend his title against Brice Kellem (7-2) at ELITE Series 16: St. Patty’s Day Smack Down. Hanna is expected to make the move to the professional level following the fight.
