UFC 61: Bitter Rivals – Saturday, July 8 – Live from Mandalay Bay

Las Vegas, NV – The UFC® tag “As Real As It Gets®” will never ring more true than when two pairs of arch-enemies step inside the Octagon™ to settle unfinished UFC business. First, “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz will take on “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” Ken Shamrock in the ultimate grudge rematch. Then, the UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim “The Maine-iac” Sylvia will battle Andrei “The Pit Bull” Arlovski in the ultimate rubber match for the UFC heavyweight title. All four fighters will have the chance to settle the score at UFC 61: BITTER RIVALS taking place live the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, July 8.

UFC 61: “Bitter Rivals” – Tickets Go On Sale

Tickets for UFC 61 – Bitter Rivals, which will be held on Saturday, July 8 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, are on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.com. World Extreme Fighting (WEF) Returns to B2 Networks

Las Vegas, NV – WEF Media, Inc., producers of the World Extreme Fighting (WEF) Events, and B2 Networks today announced a three year deal between the two companies giving B2 Networks the exclusive live broadband broadcasting rights to all WEF events. The first broadcast to take place under the new agreement will occur on June 10, 2006 when the WEF returns to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for a night of explosive Mixed-Martial Arts action..B2 Networks coverage will begin at 7:30pm PDT and show all 12 bouts on the card.

True to the name World Extreme Fighting, this card will have a truly international flavor featuring Mixed Martial Arts match ups with world class fighters from Holland, England, Spain, Thailand, Mexico and the United States. World Extreme Fighting Coming To The Orleans Arena

ONE WORLD….One WORLD EXTREME FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP, is back by popular demand for the 2nd time at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 10th @ 7:30PM. True to their credo “One world… One World Extreme Fighting Championship,” the WEF will have Mixed Martial Arts match ups with world class fighters from Holland, England, Spain, Thailand, Mexico and the U.S..

World renown Muay Thai instructor, Grand Master Toddy, will have fighters on this card, one being Marvin “The Beastman” Eastman who was defeated in a non title bout in the last round on April 1st by Chicago’s Jason Guida. This is the rematch but, this time it’s for the Light Heavyweight WEF world title. Also fighting that evening will be one of Nevada’s finest – Officer Chris Kennedy from the Las Vegas Police Dept. who will take-on Ben Saunders from the American Top Team.
