World Extreme Fighting (WEF) Returns to B2 Networks
Las Vegas, NV - WEF Media, Inc., producers of the World Extreme Fighting (WEF) Events, and B2 Networks today announced a three year deal between the two companies giving B2 Networks the exclusive live broadband broadcasting rights to all WEF events. The first broadcast to take place under the new agreement will occur on June 10, 2006 when the WEF returns to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for a night of explosive Mixed-Martial Arts action..B2 Networks coverage will begin at 7:30pm PDT and show all 12 bouts on the card.
True to the name World Extreme Fighting, this card will have a truly international flavor featuring Mixed Martial Arts match ups with world class fighters from Holland, England, Spain, Thailand, Mexico and the United States. World renown Muay Thai instructor, Grand Master Toddy, will have three fighters on this card, including WEF Champion, Marvin “The Beastman” Eastman, who will face Chicago’s Jason Guida for the WEF Light Heavyweight title. Adding to the excitement, the evening will also feature the first female Mixed Martial Arts fight in the state of Nevada as the local favorite Gina Carano faces off against Leiticia Pestova of Scottsdale, AZ.
The cost to watch World Extreme Fighting is $15 (US) dollars. A high speed internet connection and a current version of Windows Media Player are required to view the event. The live broadband broadcast from the Orleans Arena can be accessed through www.Icircus.tv or www.weffeight.com. Credit Card payment will be accepted from most domestic and foreign banks. Viewers will also be able to choose between English or Spanish commentators with more languages options planned for future events. The Spanish commentator team for the June 10th fight includes former IFBA World Champion boxer, Adriana Delgato, who is recovering from an injury and in training for her return.
