ITV4 begins carrying “IFL Battleground” on Saturday night
NEW YORK, November 26, 2007 – The International Fight League (OTC.BB: IFLI), the world’s number one team-based professional mixed martial arts league, and Alfred Haber Distribution (AHDI) today announced that ITV4 has begun carrying IFL programming on Saturday nights. It is the IFL’s second European broadcast partner, joining TV4 in Sweden.

EliteXC Fighters Give Away Turkeys In Five U.S. Cities Tuesday

Los Angeles-based ProElite, Inc.’s Live Fight Division, EliteXC, sponsored a charity event Tuesday in which turkeys were distributed to needy and underprivileged people who’d otherwise go this week without a turkey dinner and all the trimmings. Bonecrunch Fighting Expands – FightZone TV To Televise Nationally
Expanding rapidly to meet fan demand, Bonecrunch Fighting is proud to announce the addition of veteran mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and trainer Josh Odom to the league. Odom’s Tallahassee Warriors are the eighth team in the Bonecrunch Fighting league.
A standout athlete growing up in Tallahassee, Odom earned an Ed Parker Kemp Karate black belt in high school. However, he did not realize his calling as a MMA fighter until training with his fellow troops during a tour of duty in Iraq with the Florida National Guard. Upon his return, Odom began training with MMA superstar Frank Shamrock and the Tallahassee Fight Club to earn a spot on the Frank Shamrock fight team, a roster spot in the International Fight League (IFL) for the 2006-2007 season. UFC 78 “Validation” Rocks the Brick City
By Danny Serratelli, ringside, Brickcityboxing.com: The UFC returned to New Jersey for the first time in several years with UFC 78 billed as “Validation” and they rocked the house. The house this time was in the Brick City, Newark New Jersey’s new Prudential Center Arena, also known as “The Rock”. It is a great venue for both sporting events and concerts and after recently opening with 10 dates with Bon Jovi, serving as the new home to the NHL’s New Jersey Devils and the indoor soccer club the New Jersey Ironmen, a professional boxing show should come soon. After experiencing a very successful show put on by the UFC, I plan to work towards personally bringing a world class professional boxing card to “The Rock” at some point in the future. IFL: Jay Larkin named Chief Executive Officer
NEW YORK, November 20, 2007 – The International Fight League (OTC.BB: IFLI), the world’s number one team-based professional mixed martial arts league, today announced a change in its senior leadership, naming Jay Larkin acting Chief Executive Officer. Larkin, who had joined the IFL as President and Chief Operating Officer on September 21, 2007, replaces IFL co-founder Gareb Shamus, who resigned his positions as chairman and chief executive officer, effective immediately.
