Free Talk FM CBS San Diego to Air First Ever Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts Radio Program

SAN DIEGO – CBS Radio Free Talk FM, has announce that starting Sundays from 3-5 pm they will be airing the Fight Net Radio. The show will be hosted by Lee Honish and will report on all pugilistic sports with a focus on boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA). Lee Honish is joined by his co-host / contributors Matt Aguilar and Chris Erskine. Coverage will include interviews with fighters, commentary from events and straight ahead reporting on topics and issues that affect the fight world.

“This is a critical time for boxing and mixed martial arts. The sports boasts the best athletes in the world and represent a raw honest one on one sport,” said Honish. “Mixed martial arts, in particular, is exploding in popularity now but the sport and many of it’s fighters have been around for years. We are extremely proud of the fact that we can contribute back to sport by reach out to fans in the San Diego area and globally through our on-line streaming broadcast (www.fightnet.us).”

Lee Honish, who has had a successful on-line fighting radio show (Fight Net Radio formerly Boxing Net Radio) for over a year and is excited to make the leap to terrestrial radio. Honish stated “I am thankful to Free Talk FM in San Diego and CBS for having the foresight and belief in the continuing popularity of boxing and the massive growth in popularity in MMA. Other stations didn’t have the courage to step up and put it on but CBS made the leap. We believe they won’t be disappointed.”

The show will be streamed live from the website at www.fightnet.us, click on “the show”. Podcast will be available on Monday following the original airing.
