IFL Teams With Premier Partnerships for Sponsorship Sales Efforts

The International Fight League (OTC.BB: IFLI), the world’s number one team-based professional mixed martial arts league, and Premier Partnerships, one of the most respected agencies in the sports marketing field, today announced that they will join forces to identify, create and activate new long-term sponsorship partners on the local, national and international level for the IFL.

“We are very pleased that we will be working with Premier Partnerships, one of the most respected companies in the sports and entertainment industry, “said Gareb Shamus, IFL co-founder and CEO. “We have made great strides in adding partners in our first full season, and are ready to take activation to the next level while continuing to add new strategic partners, and Premier is the perfect group for us to identify, secure and activate with. This is another clear sign that the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, and our business model, are continuing to gain traction in the mainstream.”

“In a very short time the IFL has shown that they have created an all encompassing business model that is very attractive to sponsors, fans and the media, and we are very excited to help them grow their model and the sport of Mixed Martial Arts,” said Randy Bernstein, Premier president and CEO. “There is no doubt that Mixed Martial Arts is a very hot property, and we think the IFL has the perfect multi-platform activation model for those forward looking sponsors. It is truly one stop shopping to reach the male demo: .marketing rights including national TV, digital, grassroots, intellectual property, athlete rights, retail activation, entitlement opportunities and category exclusitivity. All are very desirable and hard to find in one sports or entertainment entity.”

Premier Partnerships was founded by sports industry veterans Bernstein and Alan Rothenberg to cut across the inner workings of all elements of sports property development, ranging from traditional naming rights, sponsorship and ticket sales to cutting edge and effective activation, new media development and licensing rights execution. Their client list includes the NBA, the Rose Bowl, Hunt Sports group, the Oakland Athletics, the Los Angeles Clippers, the New Orleans Hornets, Major League Soccer, and Soccer United Marketing, and the City of Long Beach among others.

The Premier-IFL relationship will look to add to a growing list of IFL partners that already includes: Vitamin Energy, CytoSports’ Muscle Milk brand, Microsoft xBox, HeadBlade, Fairtex, U.S. Smokeless Tobacco, V2 vodka, Sandals Resorts, Dale and Thomas Popcorn, Warner Home Video, USA Wrestling, and the USO among others.
