ITV4 begins carrying “IFL Battleground” on Saturday night
NEW YORK, November 26, 2007 - The International Fight League (OTC.BB: IFLI), the world’s number one team-based professional mixed martial arts league, and Alfred Haber Distribution (AHDI) today announced that ITV4 has begun carrying IFL programming on Saturday nights. It is the IFL’s second European broadcast partner, joining TV4 in Sweden.
“The United Kingdom is a growing market for the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, and we think that our programming, which is different from the cage fighting that has been the norm, will have a much greater mainstream appeal,” said IFL CEO Jay Larkin. “We are very pleased to be able to join the ITV lineup.”
