TUF 7 Season Finale Match Ups

 Former UFC® middleweight champion and one of the sport’s pioneers, Evan Tanner, takes on rising star and The Ultimate Fighter® Season 3 victor Kendall Grove as the main event of the live The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale fight card on Saturday, June 21 live from The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. North American Boxing Council Sues Mark Cuban’s HDNet For Theft

Press Release – “HDNet Fights”, the unifying mixed martial arts organization televised on Mark Cuban’s HDNet cable channel, should cease operations immediately because it was born out of a breach of trust, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other harmful actions on the part of HDNet, the North American Boxing Council (NABC) said in a lawsuit filed March 17th in the Marion Superior Court in Indianapolis, Indiana. Seven Added to Complete IFL Mohegan Sun Card May 16

Veterans Joey Guel, Jim Miller, Josh Souder, Two IFL Draft Competitors Among Additions

Seven mixed martial arts professionals have been added to the nine-bout card as the International Fight League  returns to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on Friday, May 16.  HDNet will again have live television coverage of the event. The added fighters include two – Danillo Villefort (Pompano Beach, Fla.) and Josh Souder (Mason, Ohio) who competed at IFL Draft events last September.  Also added is Jim Miller (Sparta, N.J.), who is coming off an impressive victory in his IFL debut at the Izod Center in E. USA vs. Canada in MMA Showdown

Final preparations are underway for the “2 Countries 1 Cage” mixed martial arts extravaganza scheduled for this Saturday, April 26 at the Palace in Auburn Hills, Michigan. EliteXC Signs Talented Australian, Hector “Shango” Lombard

One of Australia’s most promising young fighters at both middleweight and welterweight and one of the world’s most prolific Judo players, Hector “Shango” Lombard, signed a long-term contract with Los Angeles-based ProElite, Inc.’s live division, EliteXC.

MMA Star, Team Quest Coach Running for State Representative in House District 52

Mixed martial arts star and Olympic silver medalist Matt “The Law” Lindland has launched a campaign for the vacated Oregon State Representative seat in District 52 in the upcoming election. Lindland, 37, a silver medalist in wrestling at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, and again at the 2001 World Championships, owns the Team Quest Training Center in Portland and is the coach of the camp’s International Fight League entry.
