Tune-In Reminder: WEC Title Fights on VERSUS

VERSUS, the network that celebrates real competition and the exclusive television home of World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), today announced the card for the network’s eighth live telecast on Sunday, August 3, which features three world title fights. Welterweight champion Carlos “The Natural Born Killer” Condit, Light Heavyweight champion “All American” Brian Stann, and Lightweight champion Jamie Varner will all defend their WEC titles live on VERSUS at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. Movie Review: Felon (2008)

By: Danny SerratelliA groundbreaking new film that exposes the flaws of the countries penal system, the realities of prison life as well as groundbreaking fight scenes. In addition to a learning experience the film features fight scenes unlike anything ever done before on film. According to Dorff, who was a participant in many fight scenes in the film, the fights were not choreographed like they are in other films and often turned into practically real fights. Several mixed martial arts competitors were featured in the film including Mike Seal and Joey Villasenor as well as several fighters, who have trained at Georges St. Pierre’s gym in New Mexico. M1 Challenge: Red Devils Russia vs USA

The renowned Red Devils Challenge Team will be facing opponents from the USA at the inaugural UK M-1 Challenge event on September 27th.

Four National teams will compete in Nottingham, England in the 7th Edition of the 2008 season of M-1 Challenge, from M-1 Global. UFC 89: Bisping vs. Leben live on Spike TV

Spike TV heads across the Atlantic Ocean for the third time to telecast a UFC fight card with middleweights “The Ultimate Fighter 3″ champ Michael Bisping and “The Ultimate Fighter 1″ standout Chris Leben headlining on Saturday, October 18 at 9:00pm ET/PT (same-day tape delay) from The National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England.

EliteXC Adds A Fight For Lawler-Smith 2

An 11th and final fight has been added to an already stacked EliteXC mixed martial arts card this Saturday at the Stockton Arena.

Fedor Emelianenko Wins First Ever Unified Title Fight In MMA

The first-ever unified and undisputed heavyweight champion in MMA history was crowned Saturday, as Fedor “The Last Emperor” Emelianenko dismantled Tim (The Maine-iac” Sylvia in just 31 seconds before a capacity crowd of nearly 14,000 fans at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
