Gina Carano on ‘The Late, Late Show With Craig Ferguson’ Tonight
Gina Carano, will be a guest on “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS, Monday night (September 29th). The show airs at 12:35am PST.
Other scheduled guests are Melina Kanakaredes (of “CSI:NY”) and Marg Helgenberger (from “CSI”). Gina will be promoting her upcoming EliteXC fight this Saturday, October 4th on CBS. Other fights on that card include Andrei Arlovski vs Roy Nelson and the much-anticipated Kimbo Slice vs Ken Shamrock.

Arlovski and Nelson added to CBS Telecast
CBS, EliteXC, and Trump’s Affliction Entertainment jointly announced today that a fifth fight has been added to the lineup for CBS ELITEXC SATURDAY NIGHT FIGHTS on Saturday, Oct. 4 featuring top-ranked MMA heavyweights Andrei Arlovski against the last reigning IFL heavyweight champion Roy “Big Country” Nelson. Arlovski, who was originally slated to fight in the main event of the Oct. 11 Affliction card, is the No. 4 ranked heavyweight in the world, according to MMAWEEKLY.com. A native of Belarus, Arlovski was last seen ending Ben Rothwell’s 13-fight winning streak during the inaugural “Affliction Banned” show, which was held on July 19, 2008. World Championship Fighting 4 Full of Submissions and Knockouts
Fans at the Shriners auditorium were once again treated to a night of stunning submissions and lightning quick knockouts as World Championship Fighting produced its fourth show in the past year. The night’s festivities kicked off with a special autograph session including UFC Fighters: Marcus “the Irish Hand Grenade” Davis, Kenny “KenFlo” Florian, Joe “J-Lau” Lauzon, Dan “The Upgrade” Lauzon, WEC featherweight contender Josh “The Fluke” Grispi and Internet Legend Sean “The Gladiator” Gannon the only man to beat Kimbo Slice.
In one of the nights featured bouts undefeated John Benoit (5-0) made a statement to all lightweight fighters in the WCF by dropping down from the 170lb division to take on the very dangerous Davin Wesinger (4-1). Wesinger came out strong taking the action to Benoit punishing him with combinations on the feet. Once the fight was on the ground Benoit, a Renzo Gracie Jiu Jitsu student, was able to take Cushman’s back and secure a rear naked choke. KJ Noons Stripped Of EliteXC Lightweight Title
KJ Noons of San Diego has been stripped of his EliteXC lightweight title. The announcement was made late Friday by EliteXC Head of Fight Operations, Jeremy Lappen. World Championship Fighting today announced that local recording artist Patrice Peris will be singing the National Anthem for the September 19th event. A Shrewsbury Mass native, Patrice has taken New England by storm with soaring vocals and boundless energy.
