Mixed Martial Artists and Professional Boxers Team Up for Charity Event

In an effort to benefit the Life Rolls on Foundation, an organization that supports and benefits young people with spinal cord injuries, Convicted Artists is proud to present the “Extreme Sports & Artists Charity Event.” The Life Rolls on Foundation’s mission is to ensure that spinal cord injury patients live an active as well as fruitful life.

This important charity event is being held at the No Limits Mixed Martial Arts & Fitness Center in Irvine, California on December 13, 2008 and is the first of its kind where high profile athletes involved in Boxing, MMA, Surfing, Skating, and Motocross will be attending.

In the early hours of the event, live music, food and cocktails will be provided and later in the evening, in what has been billed as the “Battle for Orange County”; top MMA schools in the nation will compete in submission wrestling super fights.

The entire day will be filled with skateboard competitions featuring well known top skateboarders. Also scheduled to perform are Unique musicians, a very funny comedic act, a fabulous silent auction featuring beautiful original art, clothing, surf boards & skate boards, high-end cosmetic products and a number of first class paraphernalia. This will provide great ideas for Holiday giving, while it is benefiting young people trying to regroup their lives, after catastrophic misfortunes.

UFC Hall of Fame and living fighting legend Ken Shamrock will also be on hand for meet and greets. Former WBC Intercontinental heavyweight title holder Ross Puritty, who was the first man to defeat Wladimir Klitschko, will be on hand. Puritty knows about pain from boxing and playing football first hand and stated that being a part of this charity event is very important.
