The Fight Expo on tap March 21-22 in Del Mar
A massive two-day Mixed Martial Arts and Extreme Sports extravaganza, “The Fight Expo,” is coming to the Del Mar Fairgrounds, the weekend of March 21-22, in Del Mar, California.

UFC 95 A Viewer Hit
Spike TV’s coverage of UFC 95 on Saturday, February 21 (9:00pm-Midnight) delivered more Men 18-34 (634,000) and Men 18-49 (1,244,000) than anything else on television (broadcast or cable) in its timeslot. The action-packed fight card peaked at 11:30pm with 3 million viewers for the main event featuring former “The Ultimate Fighter” champs and current lightweight contenders Diego “Nightmare” Sanchez and Joe “Daddy” Stevenson. With a bevy of exciting early-round knockouts, the three-hour Spike telecast included an unprecedented nine fights, five from the main card and four undercard bouts. Gina Carano Signs with Round 5 to Create Figurine

Paulo Thiago Set For UFC 95 In London
London, February 20, 2009—Paulo Thiago brought a whole team with him from Brazil to help him in his fight with Josh Koscheck at UFC 95 in London. Thiago is managed by the legendary Wallid Ismail and is being sponsored by MMA apparel company, Basthardt.
With him are Head coach and 4th degree jiu-jitsu black belt Ataide Junior, who has been with Paulo for 15 years, Claudio Moreira (take down and ground specialist), Alex Nacfur (sparring partner), Luis “Lula” Eduardo (conditioning trainer). Hot UFC lightweight Joe Lauzon positioned for future title run
Tattoo-less Joe “J-Lau” Lauzon, coming off his impressive win against Jeremy Stephens, headlining the February 7th “UFC Fight Night 17” in Tampa, has positioned himself for a future UFC title run in the highly competitive lightweight division.
