Detroit, MI – Matt Flynn and the Xtreme Cagefighting Championships are proud to announce their weekly televised MMA series on Detroit’s WMYD-TV, the next installment to be broadcast on April 10, 2010, at midnight.

Airing every Saturday night, the hour-long “Xtreme Cagefighting Championships” showcases Xtreme Cagefighting Championship fights from around the state of Michigan featuring all of the area’s top amateur and pro fighters. Future episodes will feature compelling interviews, in-depth profiles, close-up looks at local training facilities, and tutorials on MMA techniques.

“We’re extremely proud to be able to bring Michigan MMA fans the best fights and fighters our State has to offer on a weekly basis. “Xtreme Cagefighting Championships” will look to shine the spotlight on all levels of cage fighters from raw beginners to some of the many professionals the XCC has helped nurture from the start of their careers.”

Flynn says this week’s broadcast will be a fight fan’s dream come true.

“We’re going to be showing the second professional MMA event ever sanctioned by the State. And we’re doing it virtually commercial-free. 55 minutes of fighting and only 3 1/2 minutes of commercials. The XCC is known for non-stop action in the cage, now we’re bringing it non-stop to your TV as well!”

The program is produced by local production house SoundQue Multimedia, located in Trenton, Michigan. Executive Producer Frank Mazzella is very excited about the prospect of widening the scope of mixed martial arts through traditional media. “We have had great success with our live broadcasts of Matt’s events, and the inclusion of WMYD-TV in the mix of programming options gives these great Michigan fighters even more exposure, which they definitely deserve.”
