London, February 20, 2009—Paulo Thiago brought a whole team with him from Brazil to help him in his fight with Josh Koscheck at UFC 95 in London. Thiago is managed by the legendary Wallid Ismail and is being sponsored by MMA apparel company, Basthardt.

With him are Head coach and 4th degree jiu-jitsu black belt Ataide Junior, who has been with Paulo for 15 years, Claudio Moreira (take down and ground specialist), Alex Nacfur (sparring partner), Luis “Lula” Eduardo (conditioning trainer). Rodrigo Aguiar (Muay Thai) is also part of the team but did not make the trip. They all have varying specialties, but work together to share their experience. Read the rest of this entry »

With attractions like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Parliament, there’s no doubt that London is one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world. But when Paulo Thiago makes the trip to London he won’t be seeing any of it. He’s there for one thing and one thing only—to kick some butt at UFC 95.

As a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Thiago is obviously a phenomenal fighter. In fact, he’s managed to rack up a 10-0 record in Brazil’s Jungle Fight League and has picked up MMA apparel company, Basthardt, as a sponsor.
