W1: UNPLUGGED Update

W1: UNPLUGGED is less than six weeks away and the card is taking shape to once again be one of the most exciting events ever in the area. The event is headlined by the first title fight in W1 history, as CRAIG ‘FARMER’ BROWN takes on UFC Veteran BILL ‘THE BUTCHER’ MAHOOD for the W1 Light Heavyweight Title. W1 MMA – June 13 In Gatineau

After an extremely successful inaugural event, W1 MMA will be back in Gatineau for its second event, W1: UNPLUGGED on June 13th, 2009. Due to upgrades being made at the Robert Guertin Arena, W1 has decided to move this event to the intimate BARIBEAU ARENA. W1 MMA: Mark Holst to face 2-Time UFC Veteran at INCEPTION

W1 MMA is pleased to announce changes to W1: INCEPTION in Gatineau, Quebec on March 28th, 2009.

MARK ‘BOOTS’ HOLST, from the Ottawa Academy of Martial Arts will now be facing 2-Time UFC Veteran LUKE ‘LIL HULK’ CAUDILLO. Caudillo is the toughest challenge in Holst’s young career, but Holst was quick to accept the offer of the American star. Not one to shy away from a challenge, Holst is taking a huge step up in competition but believes he is ready for this test. Could this be the unveiling of a new Canadian superstar?
